Pastor Nicholas A. Curry

Pastor Nicholas A. Curry

As a man who seeks to glorify God in all things, His ministry can be best described through Isaiah 6:11 The spirit of the Lord God is upon me: because he hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek: he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are abound.

A blessed man with an amazing gift from God and a huge heart that he seeks to share with the world. He seeks to share the gospel through his gift of music and by preaching the Word of God. He was born in Marianna, Florida; raised by both parents and grandparents. A country boy, who was gifted at the age of four to play the piano and was given a voice at an early age to sing melodies of heaven. As time progressed, he expanded his gifts to make the organ speak. Young Nicholas believed music was a language; one that he would learn to speak very well and would share those gifts to glorify God.

After graduating high school, Nicholas was led to move to Atlanta, Georgia where he continued his education at Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service. In 2003, he received his Associates of Science Degree in Mortuary Science. This was the path to the next phase of God’s plan for his life. With this degree, he was able to exercise his talents and skills at Raleigh Rucker Funeral Home in Decatur, Georgia. Through much prayer, hard-work, and dedication Pastor Curry lived his dream of owning and operating his own funeral home, Curry & Derricho Funeral Home, Inc.
